In accordance, we show from Scripture why the pastor is a shepherd – not a king. We also conclude the episode with answering the question of: “Is the pastorate a gift or an office?” This wrinkle is used by the modern movement, as well as Rick Warren, to validate the idea of women being ordained into the pastorate.
